Developed and balanced for breeding mares during their last three months of gestation and lactating mares with foals.
Based on barley and maize flakes and a tasty pellet containing quality proteins, vitamins, minerals and trace elements in high quantity.
Enriched with a prebiotic (type FOS) and probiotic (type FAP) to maximise the balance of the gut microflora, the condition of the mare and good growth of the foal.
Perfectly balanced feed with an ideal calcium/phosporous ratio.
Promotes good lactation in the mare whilst at the same time aiding the skeletal and muscular development of the foal during the first months of life.
Usage
Quantity:
Gestating mares: 0.5 kg per 100 kg life weight, per horse and a day
from 8th month of gestation onwards,
Lactating mares: 0.75 kg per 100 kg life weight, per horse and a day. Foals: provide ad libitum from the mothers feed crib, from day 10 onwards.
Supplemented with 5 to 7 kg of good quality hay and straw.
Density:
1 litre of Breeding M&F weighs approximately 440 g.
1 Pegasusfeed scoop contains 750 g of Breeding M&F.
